Acetate
Acetate is a continuous filament yarn obtained from cellulose.
Acrylic
The acrylic fibre consists of macromolecules, which mainly contain acrylonitrile and is usually utilized as flocks, pure or mixed with wool or cotton.
Artificial and synthetic fibres
The artificial and synthetic fibres are textile fibres being created by industrial physico-chemical processes natural raw materials are submitted to.
Artificial fibres
The artificial fibres are obtained by treating the natural cellulose of different plants (the same cellulose the vegetable fibres consist of), i.e. by properly processing it, dissolving it by means of solvents.
Cotton
Cotton is the most widely used vegetable textile fibre; it is obtained from a bushy plant capsule.
Cupro
Cupro is a fibre obtained from cotton linters being subject to cuprammonium process. This fibre is manufactured as continuous filament yarn.
Flax
Flax (called flax which is then spun into linen) is the oldest and noblest natural fibre; it is obtained from the cortical layer of a herbaceous plant.
Lisle
Lisle is an anallergic, hygroscopic and antibacterial cotton yarn.
Lyocell
Lyocell is a cellulose fibre being obtained by carrying out an environment-friendly organic solvent spinning process.
